A man came riding by on a little burro (burrito?), and the dogs barked, and the guy stopped for a minute to teach the burro that the dogs wouldn't hurt him. The horse people come by the house quite often, and I guess they all realize that my dogs aren't dangerous.
Pogi's ear is much better. For a few days, I treated him for ear mites, but finally put in drops simply to dissolve wax and flushed out his ear with water.
This morning Halo surprised me by chasing a little stray dog. Halo was walking off leash, and the dog, I suppose, was technically in his territory. The chase went on for quite a distance, but finally Halo came back. There are so many stray dogs around here, and I never expected Halo would want to chase one.

Saw the scared little dog again. It's found a populated area where lots of little owned dogs run loose. A woman from that area looked as if she had noticed the stray, and perhaps was trying to catch it.
