Christmas Goodness

A plate of chocolate cupcakes, a Harry Bosch novel, and a portable metal fire pit. I'm going to set the fire pit up on the front patio and start by burning some almond wood that was a liability, but now is an asset. When the wood burns down into coals, I can then roast some chicken. I'll cook enough to have extra chicken, to top the home-made pizzas that I've gotten very good at.

The rains have stopped and it's getting colder, but still nothing is forecast below 32F. I've been giving away lemons, and I'll soon make another batch of marmalade. Today, I'll harvest the last of the Brandywine tomatoes, and let them ripen indoors.
