Man Dies After Cops Break His Neck, Sever His Spine, Bruise His Brain, Snap His Leg, And Crush His Larynx.

According to the police, he was arrested without force. Somehow he was beaten to death while in police custody.

Jerry Rodriguez, Baltimore’s deputy police commissioner, told the press conference the reason for Gray’s arrest remained “a bit vague”. He confirmed at least some of the officers involved had not yet been interviewed. “The officers believe Mr. Gray was immediately involved or recently involved in criminal activity and decided to make contact,”

The media PC is running again, so I have high definition TV, with a dual DVR, all hooked up to the internet. I missed it, and had been watching my old-style emergency TV. To get it running again I had to create a recovery drive from a windows evaluation version that I found on the internet, but later had to reload Windows 8, and then upgrade again to 8.1. It was a huge project.

In other news, it's very interesting watching the two dogs interact. They're not overtly affectionate, but they do touch each other regularly. Halo, the dominant dog, seems to "inspect" Pogi. Pogi stands very still during these inspections, and is very cooperative of the ceremony.. A few minutes ago they went outside together to guard. They were barking at something (maybe a cat), then a couple of distant dogs joined the chorus. Pogi was a stray dog, and has always been able to jump the fence, but initially he stayed not just for the food, but because he liked Halo. He bonded with Halo first, and me later.
