Update For Thursday

During morning walks, we take Pogi home once he gets nervous, and then Halo and I head out again, and Halo gets to go off leash. Lately he'll go out to the creek, which is running strong and fast. He runs along the lower bank, even wading out a bit, balanced on flat rocks that are sitting underwater along the edges. He also has to find a good way to eventually climb out of the canyon, and back to me. He's really a pleasure to take out there, and he always minds me when I need to give him direction.

In other news, it's getting hot again. The earlier extended forecast was off, so say hello to 100F days. The first tomatoes are ripe, and soon I'll be immersed into canning this year's supply. I still have 7 quarts left over from last year.

I have a specialized USB power supply that fits my internet phone. Earlier, when it failed, I had to order the exact replacement. Well I just accidently broke the replacement, but fixed it with some clever modification and soldering. My thought was just to go for broke, because if I damaged it more, it didn't matter. I'm happy, that after years of buying tools, I finally have the stuff I need to fix things.
