Windows 10 And Old Printers
Sep. 25th, 2015 05:59 amOne thing I don't like, is that many old printers have little or no compatibility with Windows 10. The software drivers don't exist, probably because there's no profit for tech companies when we use old hardware. One helpful hint I got when working to connect my old HP LaserJet was to buy a new printer! The irritating thing is that my printer worked fine with Windows 8.1, but not after the free upgrade to Windows 10
I believe that if I hard wire the printer directly to the router and network it, it will work. This will be a project for another day, and if it does work, I'll need to eventually pull about 40 feet of network cable through the attic and walls.
