Heat Wave

I mowed the lawn this morning, and am watering now before the temperature ratchets up to 104F. We met the two wandering pack dogs during the early morning walk, and they were very friendly towards us both. They are owned dogs, but are always out hunting. They are good at it, and bring the kill home to eat. I'm reading "The Hemingway Thief" by Shaun Harris about a group of micreants and a stolen Hemingway manuscript.
