I'm finding bottles of "Mexican vanilla extract" at the grocery store. It's half the price of the standard McCormick's, and much more flavorful. I use it to make ice milk in my Cuisinart ice creammaker.

I cooked a big pork roast in my pressure cooker, using some of my watermelon wine as the liquid. It came out really nicely.

My next project will be to make some potato soup, and two butternut squash pies. The potato soup is somthing that's derived from our Bavarian heritage, and the squash pies are just like pumpkin pies. Actually, even the commercial pumpkin pie filling is usually really butternut squash.
