The Things I Do For Halo

Halo had a rough beginning, and lean times, so now he loves it if I stop and ponder the food level in his dog dish. It's reassuring, I suppose. If it's empty, and he's hungry, he will bang it with his paw. It's a big metal bowl, so there's no mistaking when he wants food.
