Fence Building

I found the time to plant two fence posts along my neighbors collapsing fence. I'll finish the sections tomorrow when the concrete is dry. So far I have four eight-foot sections where the old fence is most terrible. I'm essentially building my own fence alongside an ancient rotten fence that I alone have repaired for years. The old fence is now too far gone to repair, and eventually I'll have a new fence on my side.

Halo and Horses

A couple of riders on horses passed Halo and I during our walk. They know Halo and they talked to him as they passed. Halo was smiling and so happy. He likes horses. These guys once brought a donkey by to see Halo. They wanted to acclimate the donkey (or burro) to a dog, and calm the donkey's fear so it might eventually be able to march in parades.
