Raining, Cats and Dogs

 We're having hot, muggy weather as Mexican monsoon clouds roll Northwest. It even rained a bit yesterday, and possibly again, tonight. The hunting dog came along on our morning walk. He knows about coyotes better than any of us, and perhaps he prefers going out there in a group of four. He actually had a wound on his neck last week, but I don't know how he got it. Both my dogs like him.

Cali had come into the yard while we were walking, and was inside Halo's burrow when we returned. Halo was surprised to see a cat there. The dogs weren't acting aggressively, but I held them for a minute so Cali could make an exit.
