Final Harvest

 The forecast now claims we'll get to freezing early Tuesday, so I'm going to start harvesting today. I'll start with seed beans, then peppers, then tomatoes. If it does freeze, I'll finish by picking squash on Tuesday, because I've read a touch of light frost improves the flavor. I also want to till the beds, and add compost. In early spring,  I plan to plant garlic and red onions.

Flea Medication

 My two dogs needed their monthly flea meds, and.Halo didn't want it, but was a trooper and cooperated, but Dinah ran  little bit and cowered while I put it on her back. She's getting better, but she's a stray rescue dog, and after six months of being here, her foibles are now appearing.

Jack was standing around, and I realized he wanted flea meds, too. His meds are due in a week, but he was so happy when I faked giving the treatment for him too
