 I needed to go to Wal-Mart and pick up some special arch supports for my shoes. I thought I'd be clever and pick up a few other things while I was there. Big mistake. I had forgotten just how awful the Wal-Mart experience is. Wal-Mart is more expensive than other stores, but they have smaller cans and boxes so at first glance, things seems like a bargain. Products were also out of stock, and the self serve checkout was horrible. One item  I was charged for twice, even though I scanned it once, and one item registered about $1 higher than the shelf price. It's no mistake both these "little" errors were in Wal-Mart's favor. The only way to fix the overcharge was wait for half an hour in the customer service line, which I could not do.

Apparently this is common knowledge.
