Wet But Warm
Jan. 9th, 2018 10:47 amWe're having entire days of warm rain, and we got stir crazy and walked this morning in spite of it. In the past 24 hours almost two inches have fallen, and it's 56 degrees Fahrenheit at dawn. I'll be busy today in preparation for the drive to Reno tomorrow.
I had a lot of old stuff picked up this morning by the garbage service. It's a free neighborhood spring cleaning pickup of large items, but the garbage company makes it difficult. I got all of 4 days notice and hauled everything out yesterday afternoon, in the rain. It's a good thing it was out there this morning because the truck sailed through the neighborhood very early. I didn't see that anyone else, except me, had managed to put out anything.
