Home Again
Jan. 11th, 2018 06:27 pmI returned Jack, safe and sound, to my brother yesterday. It was a 3-1/2 hour drive each way, with only 2 hours left to visit. The weather was horrible driving up the grade, and I hit rush hour traffic in Sacramento on the way back.
Jack had apparently bonded with me during the 100 days I had him, and was confused to see my brother again. Halo is glad that Jack is gone, but Dinah and I miss him.
It's a tribute to Halo that he allowed Jack to join the family. There are many male dogs that would go to war over the sudden appearance of another male dog in their homes.
