The plum wine is bubbling away happily, but for some reason, it was really difficult to get the primary fermenter to seal. I did umpteen trial and errors, with different combinations of equipment, before I got it right.

We're having another heatwave and the lawn is looking somewhat stressed, but I'm watering regularly. A bird has been raiding the green Elephant Heart plums. I guess the solution is to net the tree.
