Morning Spent At The DMV

I went down to the DMV early this morning to renew my driver's license. I elected the new "Real ID" license, so I had to bring along a slew of identity papers. It took four hours of mostly waiting. The Real ID is what you need to fly and enter federal facilities.

I was worried about the eye test, as I had the impression that my vision was deteriorating, but I passed, missing just one letter with my bad eye.
