Winter Approaches
Oct. 22nd, 2018 07:49 pmMy body has more-or-less healed itself. We're having dry weather, with afternoon highs in the 80's.
I took the dogs to Sparks, Nevada to visit my brother, and his dog, Jack. We all had a good time. We may go back at Christmas, depending on the weather. The Sierra Nevada mountains can have epic blizzards. You actually travel through Donner Pass, infamous for that early pioneer party that was caught snowbound in the mountains, and resorted to cannibalism.
I just bought some new all-season tires online, so I might possibly travel in the mountains this winter. I also plan to flush the radiator and replace the coolant.
