Mechanical Update
Dec. 9th, 2018 11:00 amI ordered another control panel for the oven. The buttons are worn out on the old one and now won't activate the controls.
I did open up and look at the bad control panel, but I'm not clever enough to repair it. The problem, I believe, are bad mechanical switches on the circuit board.
The control panel is not available new, but I found a used one for about $40.
This is the second repair that I've done on this Whirlpool gas oven. The first was to replace the igniter.
