Dinah is always hunting on our walks, and yesterday, caught a rat in the yard. She's part terrier, and catches a range of little critters.
She played forever with the rat, even sometimes throwing it into the air. At dusk, when it stopped moving, she ate it.
The tuxedo cat hunts in the field across the road that once used to be Cali's territory. There is "big game" over there, namely rabbits and squirrels. I glimpsed him lurking at the far end of the field today, but he was back home at dinner time.
