Cats and Canning
Apr. 3rd, 2019 09:39 pmIt took a test of my iron will, but I've about finished my canning for last season. I have put away a total of 48 quarts of squash, tomatoes, and lemon marmalade.
I also have already canned some lemon juice, and will strip what lemons are left on the tree, and juice and can them.
The black cat is getting used to the novelty of me deliberately feeding him. At dinner time, he now makes sure that I notice him, too. He eats about 10 feet away from the three younger cats, and Cali also has her own food, but in the opposite direction.
