The Heat Wave Has Broken
Jun. 4th, 2020 09:56 pmAnother heatwave (103F today!) is over, and one tomato plant looks a little wilted. I hand watered it, so it will recover. The emitter is probably clogged again. The new no-clog emitters should arrive soon, and I must replace all 16 emitters immediately.
The dogs are seriously guarding tonight, and I'm not sure why. I'll walk outside and look around, but I don't see anything suspicious. The dogs have hyper-senses, which I don't.
I need to buy scads of dog and cat food tomorrow, and hope to get a discount coupon code in my email tomorrow.
It's 10:30 at night, and I still feel a little frazzled by the heat. I'm eating lemons and drinking water. Thankfully, it will now be cooler, for at least the next 10 days.
