I picked many of the Santa Rosa plums early this morning while a murder of magpies watched. They will ripen indoors for a few days before I freeze them.
It was a huge crop this year, and plenty are left on the tree for the birds.
June Madness
I just finished another entire mowing cycle, although now that it's summer, and I don't water everywhere, I only have half the mowing. Dinah caught a fat gopher as soon as I finished with the front yard. Halo was right there, but seems to have no interest in the hunt.
I planted a second course of bush beans, and will pick some okra tomorrow.
The white cat seems to spend most of it's time in the garage, which is interesting because it's feral.
