June Update
Jun. 18th, 2020 02:13 pmI had blood work done for my annual "wellness checkup", and the results are all normal. I convinced them to add a Covid-19 antibody test, but those results aren't in.
I've been making feeding Halo so much fun that he has taken to spilling his food on the floor. When his bowl is quickly "empty", he thinks I should give him more food.
We're seeing jack rabbits on our morning walk, and Dinah is especially excited by them. They're "big game" for hunting dogs.
Tabby cat is eating normally, and now I intend to fatten her up.
My unemployment benefit has ceased as of June 6, because I'm now technically on summer break from school. I'm challenging that cut-off with the state Employment Development Department. My argument is that with the Covid-19 hospitalizations spiking in this county, the school district can't honestly give me reasonable assurance that I will return to work in August.
