Dinah Hunting, Gardening and Cats

The squirrels have tunneled under the fence and Dinah is out there now, watching and waiting near their tunnel exit. They're after plums. Dinah couldn't be happier, but Halo couldn't care less.

Dinah is very familiar with extracting gophers from their tunnels, but squirrels, until now, have only come to her in her dreams.

In other news, I gave all the vegetables fertilizer, being careful to measure a moderate dose and to not place it close to the stem.

The tomatoes are a bushy tangle, and I could only find the plant bases by looking for the tops of the cages. There are plenty of green tomatoes already.

I haven't seen kitten (grown-up) yet today. I hope she comes back tonight.
