Gardening and Cats

I'm slowly working on getting the garden plots composted and tilled in preparation for winter. My next jobs are to remove the drip irrigation system from the south bed and clear the area with a string trimmer. The earlier freeze warnings were false alarms, and all my cold-sensitive plants are still ok. I still have peppers in the ground in the main bed and will harvest another hundred soon.

The kitten ran out earlier than I had planned, but later she was hanging with the other cats, and after an hour or so came back inside voluntarily. I'm afraid to lose her, but have to trust that she is learning to stay with the other cats.
