I've landed that new customer so now the orders for medical monitors have arrived. I drove the big truck down to San Jose yesterday and spent 2-1/2 hours hand-loading 70 lbs monitors. The monitors were upstairs stored with a maelstrom of other things so just getting them to the elevator was like broken field running. I finished without dropping any, and like Arnold Schwarzenegger (or was that Nietzsche?) said: "That wot doesn't kill you, only makes you uber strong"

Last night, I was entirely sore and stiff from the heavy lifting, so I was walking around like Frankenstein's Monster. After my first nap, I was better but my knees were still cold, stiff and aching. I almost took a vicodin, but instead went to bed early. This morning the knees are much better, but now my lower back is protesting.

We're at work now, getting some ready for shipment.

Und actually, I didn't realize it was going to be so much work. Things were totally disorganized over there, so brute force was the only option. There was so much shit crammed in the building that a pallet of computers stayed in the elevator, because there was impossible to unload it. While I was working it was not too bad, but about 5PM that night I was on the verge of collapse.

I'm 90% recovered now 48 hours later.
