Counter Cyclical
May. 1st, 2008 03:46 pmWe're all hearing about a recession, and bad economic times, but things have continued to be really busy here at work, orders are streaming in when I was secretly hoping for a little respite. I'm going to try to work smarter and not harder, so I don't burn out. The plan: finish here by 4:30 and relax. Tomorrow night we work late. I might go home and cook and later try to install my wireless modem.

Date: 2008-05-03 02:23 am (UTC)Also, eight years ago, when I was jobless, I think you were the one who told me that if you had something great going on once, it was going to happen again because people who figured out how to tap into it the first time around could make it happen again -- and how right you were!
I keep those words of wisdom dear to my heart.
