I've always thought Los Angeles was at the top, drawing pretty people from all over to it's show business industry. In California guy lexicon, a woman rated a 9 anywhere else would only be a relative 6 in LA.

A lot of things are considered when calling someone "attractive" -- style, posture, clothes, status, confidence ... so it makes sense that in wealthier places people are considered more attractive.

Of course my personal idea of attractive is not going to jive with a poll from the general public. I like beautiful people that are a bit off -- I'm not into plastic faces, over-toned bodies and $700 ripped jeans :)

I'm not sure that Miami is considered wealthy, but it ranked number one. I think most people can discern natural beauty, and expensive jeans and status don't factor into that. One the whole, Americans are getting fatter and uglier, so the people that try to keep themselves up deserve some credit.

I was watching the morbidly obese guy loading groceries (of course), into his car. His jeans were so baggy, and hunched down around his knees is the street thug style. His boxers and big ass were fully exposed. He probably affected that style because he could'nt button jeans around his waist anymore. I wanted to call the fashion police.
