High Speed Drama Just Passes Me By

While I was driving westbound on 580 yesterday morning, I noticed the on-ramps being blocked by CHP cruisers. My first thought was that some VIP motorcade was on the way. A minute later, a small silver car zipped by, going well over a hundred, pursued by at least six CHP cars with lights flashing. I haven't found any news this morning, but my guess is that it was another ex-con in a stolen car, with nothing more to lose. I hope no innocent people were killed further down the freeway.
