Farm Report June 20
Jun. 20th, 2011 10:46 amTomorrow is forecast to be our first triple-digit day, and I took advantage of the cool of this morning and tied up the tomatoes. I had put that off, but once I started, it was actually fun to wade into that tangle of vines and tend to them. I have lots of little green tomatoes and one-inch long snap beans.
I'm almost done eating the winter vegetables in the freezer, but anyway, now is a good time to eat up all the lettuce before the heat finishes it for me.
The dog ran off in a forbidden direction during our walk, and wouldn't come back, so I put him back on leash, and immediately marched him home and isolated him for a while. I hope this all made an impression on him.
