Garden Update September 7

robbyToday, I cut a lot of oregano and have started it drying, then picked about 2 quarts of snap beans. All five rows of beans are still bearing, a record crop this year. I finished with picking enough eggplant for spaghetti sauce, and maybe a quart extra to freeze.
I'm toying with the idea of planting some determinate tomatoes (perhaps Romas), next year, especially for canning as sauce. The determinate tomatoes will ripen all at once, and you would make gallons of sauce at a time.
