robbyMore storms for the next 5 days. The homeless camp by the creek will probably get flooded. I would warn them, but they're never up in the early morning, when I walk the dogs.
I cast some more pieces, and have the technique down. I'm going to low fire the pieces before the application of the undercoat, fire again, and then wax the surface.
I took delivery of 500 lbs of dry slip, which is redder. I also have the proper iron oxide to make it redder still, and some additional compounds that might help me mix a slip that dries faster. I want to cast and release the figures more quickly, so I can use the molds multiple times on the same day.
