Ebola In West Africa

Ebola is spreading from country to country. Infected people are avoiding doctors and flying across national borders. I wonder if it's possible to contain it anymore, and how this will play out. It's like the worst of the European bubonic plagues of the past, with no cure and a 90% fatality rate.

When I read news of current events, I wonder why people need horror fiction. The horror is real and all around us.

Yeah, to my mind the Ebola epidemic is the biggest news story out there and has been for several months now. I'm surprised the virus hasn't hit Europe yet, but I guess most of the African refugees pouring into Europe are from East Africa.
