Just Finished The Four Hour CBEST Exam

robbyI feel like I passed all 3 sections. Won't know for a while. The math part had a few mind-numbing problems that I initially skipped, but when I returned to them, I could see the clever, obvious solution. It's a bad strategy to start complex calculations if you can predict the answer.
The two writing prompts were 1) to describe a memorable meal that was more than simply the food, and 2) take a position on censorship of school journalism. My narrative about a meal was heartwarming. (I hope.)
My focus stayed sharp for the entire 4 hour test, and my cursive handwriting with a #2 pencil was within acceptable limits. I rewrote some words when the individual letters were not distinct. I haven't needed to write longhand in many years.
