The Fields Are Still Green

The heavy rain this winter and spring were unusual and the vegetation is still showing extra growth. The mowing this spring has been exhausting. I just finished one complete cycle and finally the grass along the road is drying out and going dormant.

Halo has been spending more time outside, and I take that as a sign that he's feeling good. He's eating well, and enjoys his mile walk in the late afternoon. I let him walk off leash as much as possible, partly because I feel it's good stimulation.
