Halo Kills A Chicken

Halo discovered a young chicken on the porch when we came back from our morning walk. Before I knew it, he had dispatched it, then dumped it out in the yard. He's not a hunter, so I guess it was a territorial dispute.

This morning, I want to weed the south bed, water all the vegetables, trim the almond tree and edge and mow about half the lawn.

I think I saw it yesterday, and it's probably a feral chicken. Halo actually never reacts to feral chickens when we're on walks. I suppose that it offended Halo's sensibilities by invading.
