Gardening Update

robbyI allowed some "volunteer" tomato plants to establish next to the okra. It's probably bad gardening, but I am soft hearted towards certain vegetables and have let 5 tomato plants remain. I have another 16 BIG tomato plants in the south garden bed. The new no-clog drip emitters are working great.
My second course of bush beans is a little disappointing.
Less than half of the commercial seeds sprouted. I try to save seeds from season to season and fresh, home-saved seeds are much more viable.
My next gardening task will be to side-dress all my plants with a teaspoon of 15-15-15 fertilizer.
