Farm Report For July 27

I started canning tomatoes last night, and hope to put up lots before this season is over. I also mixed up some Frontline and sprayed a number of areas, including that sycamore maple stump. I'm not opposed to using Frontline, but I wouldn't ever use those old-fashioned toxic herbicides. I tried to weed the brick driveway by hand, a few times. It takes forever and the weeds are back so quickly. The summer squash are budding already.
