I read about other people's dreams in LJ, and mine seem different. I tend to have dreams that are fluid, they merge and diverge and change quickly, I don't know what that says about me.
Every so often, the dreams get so improbable that I realize I am dreaming, in my dream (lucid dreaming) and then I can have fun with that.

Here's a one minute view of one of my stupid dreams:

I'm at the airport, leaving for a week, and dropping off my old blue pickup(which I really sold about a year ago), at some sort of valet parking/long term parking lot. I decide I'll park the truck in the front, where the valet will have to move it a lot while I'm gone. That is good because if you parked it for a long time, it would be hard to start. Then, at the last minute, while at the airport, I have to get an old washing machine to put in the back of the truck. (I don't remember why I had to pick it up, but it's no big deal. I can throw it in the back of the truck) I'm dragging the washing machine back to the truck, but it's not a truck anymore it's a old blue Toyota celica hatchback. Shit, things are getting complicated, and my flight will be leaving soon, so I tie the washer to the roof of the car with rope. Then I look inside the car, and my cat's in there! For a second I consider letting the valet take care of her, while I'm gone, but realize that's not an option, so I have to take her home.

Not a very glamorous or spiritually enlightened dream!

woke up from this dream a few days ago:

the chihuahua was attacking the cats, so the people nailed it's front legs to a board.

i tried to save the chihuahua but i was in a hurry so i put it into a bucket of water to 'keep' til i could get back.

by the time i returned it had drowned.

i shook it around and woke it up and then i woke up.

So you did save it after all...

I used to have a recurring dream, that I was in Portland. I would realize that I still had an apartment there, that I had forgotten about. I would walk up the stairs and open the door, into a dusty, neglected place, and memories would flood back to me. How could I have forgotten this life I had led? Worse yet, my starving kittens that hadn't been fed in years came crawling into the room. I would be overwhelmed by waves of shame for my terrible neglect.
