Michael claims he acted impulsively, but my God!, feeling chickens to a croc with one hand, and holding a baby in the other..... I had a small Caimen(something like a crocodile) once, and it was unrelentingly vicious. I thought it would warm to me eventually, but it's reptile brain never did progress to that point.
I agree, he should not have been able to hold his child that way. The mother must be dead or living in Sweden because I can't imagine her allowing that! My other thought was that the baby must have been terrified!
that makes me so furious... stupidity usually does. cause, beyond the fact that the crocodile could randomly attack at any time, look how hes holding his son. if he had to run suddenly, his son would probably suffer brain damage or something, because his head would jostle around. that guy just... argh!
He claims he was in control, and the danger was only "perceived danger", but I agree with you. He doesn't have the right to expose a helpless infant to that risk. Look at Siegfried and Roy.
yikes!
