The California Governator's Heroic State Of The State Address

I have to say say that Arnold Schwarzenegger's address pumped me up! I feel sad for those of you that live in states ruled by sissies and weaklings. Arnold will now do heroic battle with the education community over his insistence on closing the deficit without any new taxes. It does not matter if he wins or loses. No one will remember if we were good men or bad. Why we fought, and why we died. All that matters is that today, one stood against many.

If he listens to his instincts, does not 'tow the party line' and acts as a 'loose cannon' he could be better for CA than a democrat. I bet Bush is more impressed by him than he is by Bush.

I did say he was a moron, but since he put his film career on ice and rolled his sleeves up I've revised that idea.

Not that I like him particularly.

All joking aside, the consensus view is that he's made some very adroit political moves in the past 50 days. His advisors include an ex Governor. He will present a budget on Friday, and will propose cuts in state services, and elimination of some bureaucracy, and then his epic battle will begin
