Ooooo, Scary Chick.
Apr. 23rd, 2004 12:38 amI took a cute eurasian girl out for dinner, and then to Gorden Biersh to hear some music. She was getting tipsy from less than a glass of wine, and asking me inappropriately serious question about my life goals, and such. There is a time and place for such questions, but not so soon. She really didn't seem very bright, and probably could not think of anything else to say. She doesn't like kids, and was amazed that I have never been married. She believes we are always surrounded by ghosts. Her theory is that dead souls haunt the earth for at least 40 days after they die. I asked her if she could see ghosts right now, and she looked around nervously and thankfully, she said no.
One immediate life goal I have just formulated is to lose her phone number.

editor's note: Everybody's a psychic! A package delivery driver stopped by to pickup, and wanted to hear the details of a gruesome murder that hapenned next door, about a year ago. I told him the simple version, with only four characters, but he had a difficult time understanding the plot. The kicker is: Before he left he told me he had once had a vision of a skeletal corpse hanging in my office closet.
