Vacation Plans

I'm going to Miami for Memorial Day weekend, and want to bask on the white beaches, spend Saturday night in South Beach, bike in the Everglades and then drive to Key West to commune with Papa Hemingway.

I was reading a guide book that said some funny things about the sort of tourists that goes to Ft. Myers. It also said don't wear socks with your sandals!

That, and try not to go bare foot down Fort Myers Beach. You never know what kind of syringe you may find lodged in your heel.

That must be why the tourists there are so bloody. The guide book said the Ft Myers beaches are loaded with families visiting from the midwest, without any of the Miami obsession with style.

hah, style is one thing you will not find in fort myers..
