Media Distortion

I'm beginning to hate Yahoo News. In this latest story they describe the Islamic Fascists that want to murder Russian schoolchildren simply as "militants".

The media purposely clouding the truth, that fundamentalist Islamic terrorists are murdering innocent people on all continents of the world.

They are Islamic terrorists from Chechnya, butchering in the name of Allah, and are afilliated will Al-Quaida, and have been also fighting in Pakistan and Iraq.

The media is trying to portray them as radicals, and doesn't want us to understand the global implications.

That's amazing, I should really find better news sources. I thought that they were Russians angry about racial supremacy or something. Last I heard there was a group like that, so I just figured.

Yup. So true.

In some news stories, I've seen seen terrorists who shot both soldiers and civilians, called "gunmen" or "protesters/" But yeah the term "militants" pisses me off as well. Terrorists or the people who sympathize with them shouldn't even be humored into thinking they're in any way legit.

I don't understand the motives of the media here. I'd think they'd be *playing up* the Islamic terrorist connection since the U.S. has so few countries on their side in its "war against terror." The Madrid bombings were not portrayed this way, as being done by "militants" - so why in Chechnya?

Many media organizations want to shape pubic opinion, and in this case, they don't want us to realize that there are hundreds of millions of Muslims that want to kill us. On the West Bank, tens of thousands gathered on 9/11 to celebrate the thousands killed in NYC.
