AT&T and my business empire
Jun. 19th, 2007 01:33 pmI just modified my business phone service and long distance plan with AT&T. It sounds like a good deal, but I always get blindsided by AT&T and end up paying more than I expect. I'll get business DSL for about $22 month, and they'll credit me the modem and shipping cost, and send me a $100 Visa gift card.
I've got a separate file folder exclusively for phone plans, but didn't realize until recently that everything was so restrictive and on one year contracts (I don't recall ever agreeing to that), with potential penalties for early withdrawal.
It's almost like I need a business phone lawyer to read all the fine print.

BTW- At&T now has a secret home DSL plan for only $10/mo, including modem. They are not advertising it, because it was imposed on them. You have to specifically ask for it.
