Scooter Update
Jun. 6th, 2008 11:39 amI had a motorcycle mechanic guy look at the scooters, and he said probably the reason the most complete one wouldn't kickstart is that it needs an ignition switch to complete the circuit. It needs a few other parts, but they can come off the parts bike. The only thing I need to buy to get it running is a choke. Later, it will need guages and lights and some body pieces to be ready to ride.
The second scooter needs a few parts as well, but I can get them cheap on the internet. The third scooter will be really stripped when I'm done, but it will have a partial engine, transmission and gas tank, and someday could be used to build a motorized bicycle.
On a lighter note, I'm eating cold steak and drinking cold coffee for lunch. That's just what the cowboys used to eat, but it's not very good.
