Blue Heeler

My neighbors "inherited" three dogs from a flaky relative, and are about to take them to the pound. One of the dogs is an australian cattle dog, a male, about one year old. I'm going to take him for some walks and see if he warms to me. In general, they are supposedly a healthy breed, very smart, mostly a mixture of dingo and collie. I'll take a picture and post it later.

Easy Life Cut Short By Huge Destructo!

When I pulled out the squash plants, I disrupted some lizards and at least one mouse. The mouse must be what was taking little nibbles out of the squash. I was picturing a larger beastie creeping in the dark of night, but that mouse was simply living easy in the squash bed.
