Construction Slows for Tax Season
Apr. 12th, 2011 06:56 amI poured a concrete footing for my tree basin, and it seems almost round, and almost level, with a deviation of perhaps an inch. If I'm clever, I can make that up the height difference by laying the mortar a little thicker in sections, while I'm placing the bricks.
The foundation is about seven feet in diameter, and I'm planning on laying just two courses of bricks. The finished basin will aproximate a circle, but actually will be a 32-sided polygon.
The concrete is curing, and I'm not sure when I'll get back to this, as it's tax season and I need to mail my returns on Friday.
