General Update

It's 98 degrees today, but the humidity is only 15%, and I don't even need the air conditioner. I have blossom end rot on the tomatoes I grew in pots. That growing in pots was only experimental, and must be classified as failure. The eggplant and beans have passed their productive zenith. I've started drying peppers, and the squash and tomatoes are still bearing well. The onions I've put away seem to be keeping well, surprisingly, the reds are keeping better than the yellows

I'm messing with the new baso valve I bought for the kiln. It's not working right, and I don't know why. I'm not sure to what degree I want to play with natural gas systems. I've sort of run out of ideas about what could be wrong. I don't have the background for this and it could be something very fundamental, an issue I haven't even considered. I'm mulling it over in my head... I know I have an old, goofy ball valve in the manifold, so maybe I'll replace that.
