This was one of those days that zipped by. Mornings are getting into the 40's, and the Early Girl tomatoes are ripening so slowly. Tomorrow, I'll be lucky to find ten that are ready. The peppers and beans are still producing well, and now I'm picking lemons. I need to set some steel rods next to the avocado trees, to act as a support when I cover them before a freeze.

Pogi hasn't been minding off the leash, so he doesn't get to run any more. In contrast,I really appreciate Halo's intelligence and good behavior.
Halo understands why Pogi stays leashed, because we both have had to interrupt our set pattern to track Pogi down and put him back on course. I hope Pogi learns how to act.
